About manual vs. automatic data binding

Data binding is the process that transfers the value of a control on a form to the Meridian Enterprise database. When a form is displayed, the value is loaded into the control. And when the user saves changes to the form by clicking the Apply or OK buttons (Next or Finish, in the case of a wizard page), the value from the control is saved back to the database.

When building a Meridian Enterprise property page or wizard page, you need to decide how to extend the data binding, either automatic or manual.
